East Coast Helicopters provide a range of professional helicopter services from our base at Weston Airport in west Dublin. We are owned and operated by pilots dedicated to offering a world class service to our customers.
We are the only licensed helicopter passenger transport company on the east coast of Ireland offering helicopter charter, tours and services across Ireland.
We operate in conjunction with National Flight Centre Pilot Academy which has been training pilots in Ireland for over 40 years.
Weston Airport lies just off Exit 5 on the M4 motorway, just 12km from Dublin city centre. We are located beside the airport terminal building. We are open 7 days per week and offer flight services from early morning until late evening.
For the enjoyment of corporate passengers and tourist customers, a comfortable passenger lounge is available, with a restaurant and viewing area in the airport terminal building.
A chauffeur transfer service is available upon request.
Safety and Experience
The safety and comfort of our passengers is our top priority. We are approved by the Irish Aviation Authority and licensed by the Commission for Aviation Regulation.
We operate in accordance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) commercial air transport standards and our helicopters are maintained to the highest EASA standards at our in-house maintenance facility.
Our pilots have thousands of flight hours in varied roles worldwide and follow an approved program of recurrent flight training and check flights to maintain proficiency.
The Bell 206L LongRanger is one of the worlds most popular, reliable and versatile helicopters of all time. Over 2000 have been built and are operating in a variety of roles worldwide.
In the passenger carrying role, the helicopter can carry up to six passengers. The separate baggage compartment can hold light luggage or up to four sets of golf clubs for golfing trips.
We have equipped our aircraft with VIP interior and noise-cancelling headsets for passenger comfort.
